Hard top pricing

Had a quote for roughly 3k for just a glass top. Electronic box. No lights. About 6'x8'. High or low? I did request some divinycell for walking on it.

Wow! At that price I'm assuming it's a custom "one off" top? Or is it a stock one size fits all?

I asked for quotes from some different folks. Had one builder try to tell me that just the hardtop part that you're talking about is typically $6k-ish. Haha.

Jeff.. The other option which you east coasties haven't done is the Soft Top/Rocket Launcher Option. I am moving mine off my Formula to the New to Me Sceptre. You can usually Do the whole thing for under $2500 Thats the Launcher and Top.

The top i had made was all 80 mil on top of that. Its what we all do here on the West side of the Country. Would be a Thought for sure.....

Robert, our runs are typically 60nm. Poor boat takes a pounding sometimes. I like the top on the formula but the water we see would fold that up. Not too long ago I went 90nm. I'm out of Charleston and am trying to get the guy who builds Freeman Boats to build a new top for mine. I'm doing new bright work with second station and full canvas.

Jeff FYI i ran that boat 50 to 80 miles out on the Oregon Coast Tuna fishing. Its made out of 1" square Tube with Re-Enforcement Bracing. If that Thing folds the boat is going to Sink. The top is Trailerable... so we leave it up all the time towing at 75 to 80mph. It can take a beating as good as any Hard top IMHO.

You rarely see a Hardtop on the North West Coast... Almost everyone is exclusively running the Trailerable Soft Top with Rocket Launcher.

If you are even considering it... Shoot me a PM with a Number i am Happy to give you some info and i have taken some pretty big water on that Top.
