NEED ADVICE! Value of 1989 CC, 23ft?
 

Hey everyone,
Glad to find this forum, have a buddy who has a 1989 SC 23' center console with a 1999 Johnson 225. Hull is in good shape and engine runs well, the only real issue is the deck which has a ton of soft spots and some decent sized cracks. I'm trying to help him decide whether to have the deck redone or just cut bait and sell the thing to someone who would put some time into restoring it.

Problem is, we don't know what it's worth or what it would cost to fix. Anyone have an idea what the boat might be worth currently or what it'd take to get the deck redone? Really appreciate any insight!

Lets see a pic or two, the new deck is gong to be at least 4k. then who knows what else will need to be addressed, wiring, pumps, cables, etc.
