Anybody know what the fitting on the bow behind the bow light is? Where can you find a replacement? I am guessing it is a guide for the anchor since it is open into anchor locker. As you can see in the pic mine is gone. See pics.

I will try to get a better pic tommorow.

No fittings there on mine.

Not unusual to have a flag post mounted in that area

Looks like it was made of Zamak (zinc based pot metal), which basically dissolves in salt water! Definitely not OEM equipment! A deck pipe that allows you to mount anchor on front deck for quick deployment is a good idea, but get one of these, not one of those small dinky ones where you have to push the rope thru it! The weight of the chain hooked on to the cap holds it on.

Thanks guys,

erebus and Bushwacker the links you posted are defiantly what i am look for. Mine is just totally corroded to the point of falling apart when I pick it up.

Im starting to wish I had the funds to let erebus Restore my Boat. You really have been a big help my friend.

I have almost got her totally stripped and ready for Sanding and Filling, just got to remember to take my camera when I work on her.

Thanks again,

I have '76 18 ft. I restored.
I think it's an anchor light. I have the original along with the light.
When I get a chance I will send a pic.

I would appreciate the Pics when you can post them. It looks almost exactly like the image erebus posted and the diminsions match up as well so I'm pretty sure thats what it is.

The light is 57" long. I think even the light bulb is original. Forgot to wire for it when we restored the boat.
