New to boat rest

Hey guys,
I have my first question. What model do I have? I want to change the color of the exterior and redo the inter floor. Which one first? Can anyone show me what the original seacraft decals looked like in 69? More questions to come, thank you Jeff |

1969 was about the last year of the Moesly era, when they didn't use decals, which were introduced on the later models by Bill Potter. Carl Moesly used a metal SeaCraft script emblem, similar to the one below, except that it said Miami, Fl. where it now says Classic. If you click on the Bowrider brochure on the Moesly web site, there is a good shot of the original emblem in one of the pictures. Carla (65Bowrider) had a batch of the SS emblems made in 2 different sizes but I think she has sold out of them. I have a MS Word file of the Potter decal I can send you if you'll PM me with an email address. Any sign shop can make the decal in any color you want from that file. |

Thanks Ken,
I am new to seacraft altogether. Never knew anything about them until I got a deal on this one. Maybe this winter i can do some restoration on it. |
Welcome aboard Jeff,
Looks like the SF 20 model. Good choice! You're going to wonder why you didn't learn of this boat sooner. If this is your first boat, you're off to a great start! |

You have one there that is in pristine condition !!
Suitable for framing.... They do not come in better shape then yours.. |
With Bikecop's photo I might be able to come up with something. Since I don't want to derail Jeff's thread, I will start a separate emblem thread. More to follow when I start that thread.
Jeff69 - Good luck with this resto!!! |
