What's needed to get aft deck live well working

Just purchased a 2002 CC 21. There is nothing at all connected to the live well.
Trying to figure out what is needed to get it going again. Obviously there is an
inlet from a seacock. And I think there was a light. Not sure where the discharge
goes. thanks for any info.

Seacock opens flow of water to pump and directs it to the livewell through the inlet near top of live well, this should have a plastic cap, when unscrewed will let in water, even when pump is off it will slowly let in water if opened,,,there is a plug higher up that you pull out that is the over flow..then there is another pump at the very bottom of well that drains the well....you can use it many ways....I just let water in by unscrewing the plastic fill cap until half full then pump some water out once in a while and refill to keep water fresh ,,I don't use the inlet pump and don't use the overflow plug..It sounds complicated but as posted you can use it 3 different ways.. going by my 21, 1998 hull, yours should be the same...are all the pumps and fittings hooked up ? one pain is, it fills with rain water and you have to pump it out, keep everything plugged when not used if kept in slip

Right now nothing is connected. Honestly I would rather use it for dry storage. But I see what you mean. Just washing it down it had water in it. Especially the channel around the cover.
