Good Post !!
Always Safety First
I find it hard to believe the Coast Guard can't find this devil in diguise. A submerged object that close to the surface, should be spotted from the air ?

I saw it on Instagram a few days ago. I'm hoping he has very good boat insurance!! :)

Looks like one hell of a nice boat! Must have been a nightmare feeling watching it go down. Great instinct to run it into the shallows

If the object were the remnants of a steel I-beam it will surely be on any
good nautical chart as a channel marker that once was etc...

Liability now falls on The Florida Inland Navigation District and
or the Army Corp of Engineers, not sure on the West coast ...

Should be fairly easy to spot with aerial assistance and clear water !
