One Last Trip

Snuck in one last river adventure before the cold winter
winds start to blow. The water is rapidly cooling and the
mornings are getting crisp, but the afternoon sun is still
a blessing.
Beach hopping, lunch at the Topock Marina, and no crowds.
It was a great weekend and one that I'll hold onto until
the spring.

Actually, you DO have to watch the tide! This stretch of the river is
between Davis and Parker dams, and if they decide to close one and
open the other things can get real shallow real quick!

Beautiful weekend - your boat looks great!

Looking fine Tony. You did a great job in record time bringing it from an ugly duckling to a beautiful looking ride.
Seems funny to see it far out in the west when at one point it was sitting under a bunch of maple trees in Western Massachusetts.and before that in a slip on lake Champlain in Vermont.
If only boats could talk, the stories would be great.

I'm not too sure about that!! A few would be, then there are some of the "others" we don't want to talk about!!! :)

Come to think of it Don you may be correct.

Thanks John! Couldn't have done it without you.
Part of the reason this boat is so cool is because of her nomad life.
I'm sure she has some GREAT stories to tell!

Boat looks great. Just starting on my 79 Seafari, can only hope it ends up looking that good. By the way nice Dane.
