Pictures of early south FL Seacraft guide boats

I was reading this thread and wondering if anyone here has pictures or stories of early South FL seacraft guide boats.

Ralph Delph Interesting Read

Even before I clicked the link I was trying to remember Ralph's name. Think he ran advertisements in Florida Sportmans magazine years ago about guiding from his SeaCraft out of Whale Harbor Marina in Islamorada which was right next to where I vacationed with my parents as a teenager.

Capt. Bob Lemay still regrets selling his 18 which he ran in the Keys and 10.000 islands.

It was pretty cool as the outer panels were extended to make live wells without
pumps.

Looks like the center console was moved WAY back on that boat. I remember reading that a lot of guys would do that but it’s been my experience the 18 rides better with the weight slightly forward.

It seems to me that the National Park rangers had them years ago in the upper Keys. (And marine patrol)

That mariner ad was the first time I ever saw a SeaCraft and was the reason I bought one! Loved the look of that boat.

Fished with Ralph many times and was never disappointed. It got so much my wife thought I had a girlfriend in key West. One time he was booked and he asked me if I would book his son Robbie and I did. Turns out we went on Robbie' s 1st charter on a old 23 red Seacraft. Either one were great to fish with
