Ok time to fess up

Was it someone here who beat me to the seavette for sale on Miami craigslist?

See post #27. I'm not sure if Dave still has it. I saw it back in December and it was till there.

I got ya don, but this one was an outboard basket case project. Just the kind of yard ornament that my wife hates, but I can't seem to get enough of

I heard the guy is down to asking $1,300. Last week a potential buyer in Miami called me and asked me the cost to make a replacement Teak cabin door. At the time the seller was asking $1800. I texted the guy tonight. He told me that he passed on buying it, but did say the seller would have taken $1300 and supposedly needed to sell it quickly. I saw some pics of it. Was a white hull with no motor. It was definitely a SeaVette.

That's the other one, and it's been listed for a while. This one was yellow and I had it for 800 bucks
But I was second in line.

Whoever it was probably was the person who contacted you. Then found the yellow one.

I have an outboard Seavette that was given to me. I just couldn't stand the thought of it being cut up
so I grabbed it.You'll have to come to NY to get it though:D

Sorry Ken, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that... Look at the pics carefully. Especially from the front. That's a 23 hull, too deep and flared for a 20. Go look at No Bones from the front and look at the pic at the same time. The windshield is a SeaVette not a Sceptre, it too low and sloped, also comes into the cap too far back to be a 20' Sceptre

Ken it's definitely a seavette.
