Seacraft Sceptre cuddy access

Does the 70’s - 80’s access lift panel and door leak into cuddy from rain and or spray ?

Looked at a few seems wet inside but not sure .

Yea at the hinge and up front if the bottom of windshield isn’t weather striped. I just redid the caulk where the window frame meets the gelcoat on the bow and it’s dry as a bone now. Funny you ask because I got in a sure enough turd floater last weekend and my boys pointed out a leak. I will say that now that is fixed it is very dry in there. Cheers

I’m assuming you aren’t referring to a sun roof on the bow right?

Why ....does the bow hatch tend to leak ?

Sure they do. The one I grew up on leaked around the seal. I’m glad mine doesn’t have a sky glass on bow.
