Seahoss 27
Hi this is Fred Cartwright, seahoss27
No bones found this 1986 sea craft and few other guys. I was lucky enough to pick it up and bring it home to Ormond Beach Fl. I pulled the center console to find hole in front tank. Pulled both tanks, put new aluminum tanks in. Beefed them up from1/8” to 3/16” thick aluminum and powder coat and new bulk heads. Ended up putting new composite floor in, new hardware, laches gen lux. In the end, Everything has been changed- new rigging, wiring and rub rail taco. Build was 18 months with still a little more to do. The 27cc rides like a dream, hit 50 mph with twin f225. After changing Bennett trim tab pump the only thing I didn’t change failed me was hitting 44 mph with no tabs at 5,000 rpms. Best boat I’ve ever purchased or road on. Many more pics to come!! |
Welcome Fred and thank you for sharing your pictures of your 27.
I too have a 27 - 1986 27 Tournament. If you have any questions or just want to bend my ear, shoot me a note. |
