1971 23 full rebuild to conch style

Please follow the link to my page, sry I didn't want to upload all 380 pictures to this forum. I'm not a professional, so I am sure that some people would have done parts differently, but overall turned out awesome, and would encourage anyone rebuilding one of these boats to this extent to consider this process!

Very nice job!!!! I really like the picture of you in the Tyvek (sp?) suit with the thumbs up!! I can't ever remember grinding glass in a Tyvek suit being in a thumbs up mood!! :)

First class job.. Did you make the floor hatches of buy them pre made? I see there are places that make them now a days which would simplify things a lot.

I bought the hatches from gulf stream composites. The design is excellent with really deep channels for water and large corner areas to do drainage numerous different ways however one likes. They are hand laid on a mold with gelcoat and the lids are 1/2" foam core. Overall quality was good, but there were some small spots that needed touch up. Nothing that required much extra attention than all the fairing and touch-ups I was already doing...
