Front bulkhead
6 Attachment(s)
When I remove my front bulkhead it just slipped out of the groves nothing holding it in. Any reason for this. I plan on expoxy the new 1 inch coosa one in. Any feedback is good . Thx Keith

Bulkhead
Second question is when I cut out step and front vent/brace out I built an enternal brace with 1/2 by 5 inch wide coosa strips to make curve of hull and expoxy in to replace brace so to not be exposed and not have a toe banger. I did notice some foam between inner liner and hull so I’m guess they are ok attacted and don’t free float each other. Hope questions don’t sound stupid.

Last thing my brother in law put his bracket on hi 20 yesterday. He has had this boat since he was 16 he is 56 been running it around palm beach Jupiter along time so he finally rebuilt it. Strong old boat .all 6 of are 2 family’s kids grew up on this boat.

It slipped out because your cap held it in place. Cut your hatch opening before you epoxy it in place.

Thx Chuck. I am going to make my hatch on top. That bending down is getting harder as I get older. So what your saying is just let the cap keep bulkhead in place as it was.

Good call and your right you will never keep water out of there. I have my drain coming out the small bulkhead below draining on deck . May go back to the way it was and thx
