Potter Putty
 

I haven't been making much progress on my new deck due to cold and rain but after chipping and grinding a ton of Potter putty off of the stringers I'm wondering what to bond the new deck to the stringers with. A bunch of tubes of 5200? What are you guys using?

I'm bedding my new deck next week and plan on just using epoxy thickened with cabosil and chopped fibers. My deck will sit much closer to the stringer tops (hopefully touching if I did it right) than with the original layout, so I'm hoping I won't need as much material to bridge the gap as the old potter putty (which was over an inch thick in places)
