I'm looking to make a bar from a wood boat to put in the patio are of my new house. I've seen where others have taken the last 3 or so feet from the back of a derelict wood boat and refinished it into a bar similar to this picture.. I prefer something here in florida and so.ething that's not huge. If someone knows of something reach out to me

I have seen some nice ideas and finished bars on THT

Not mine (well, not the bar anyway ;) )... this is not an actual boat stern, but a custom replica job that cost the owner (an old neighbor's very-pimpin' Fire Island beach house) an ungodly amount of money...

Best of luck, I'd also love to have one someday. I also know someone (a FI ferry boat captain) that had the tip of his old wooden boat protruding out from the corner of a bar room, sort of floating overhead. It was presented to him as a surprise birthday gift by his family.

Jarrett Bay has a nice one in their clothing store down town Beaufort, N.C. They are super cool. Starting to see a few fishing tackle shops doing these as well to show off the gear for sale. Love to do one myself on day...
