1973 Tsunami Windshield Gaskets

Guys,
I have a windshield company that I was hoping to use for my windshield gasket replacement.
Everything I have read point to the TP-139 gasket as being the correct Gasket for this windshield.
I sent a sample to the glass folks and he is saying this will not fit the windshield glass.
I believe he may be wrong?
Is there another gasket that was ever used or is this the correct one?

TP 139 was for the side windows in the cabin for the seafaris i think. The windshields used TP 686 if im not mistaken.
