Off to Vermont tomorrow...
One of my oldest and dearest friends passed away last week on my birthday.
Everyone who met him liked him. All who knew him, loved him. He was born on the fourth of July in Philadelphia. His 21st birthday was our nation`s 200th anniversary. Some of the finest musicians in the upper valley will be there. So many friends from childhood on up through my 20`s will also be there. Love you John Sigafoos. Notsocheery, GFS |
Sandy,
We are truly sorry for your loss of Ziggy ! Had the pleasure of meeting him at our Long Point gathering.. Safe travels my friend.... |
Flying into BDL in Ct. Seems the winds will be 20 WSW.
Hope we get out. I`m bringing my go pro. We all thought he would be at our celebrations. He and another old friend bought the top of a small mountain on a class 4 road. They split the top and built their camps. When you have to shovel snow to get to the outhouse. When you prime the hand pump. When you ride a snow machine up the road home. Many names and faces I have not thought of in 30 years. Folks are coming in from all over. |
Sandy,
