Transom cap height

Does anyone have the dimension of the crown of the transom cap from the center point to the bottom of the keel? Trying to get the curve right on my transom restoration.

SNAFU,
looks like most have gone with a 2 or 2.5" arch for the transom. I used a piece of 3/4" PVC pipe, clamped on each end and raided 2.5" in the center. This gave a nice even arch for the transom and followed the lined of the previous sides. I do have the mold for a transom cap that Kraken used. I'm in Jupiter / Deerfield Beach (work) if you need to use it. I haven't made my part yet, but soon I hope.

I also use a piece of PCV and spend a little xtra time making sure the PVC fit the angle of each gunnel for a good transition and consistent angle

KNZ911 - Thanks for the reply. Exactly what I was looking for. Right now its right about 2.5". We used the cap to get the curve just like you described above. Before we started glassing, I just wanted to confirm. Really appreciate the offer on the mold.

FYI - Im in Boca and the boat is in Pompano.

Consider the baitwell lid/recess as you go forward if it's located
there.

Not sure f this has been covered but consider were all your bracket bolts will fall as you build it out knees, deck, supports and access to for bolts If your going with a bracket. All the bracket guys have a diagram u can get ahead of time. I had 2 bolt location line up were deck meet transom just extra work.
