Layup schedule for strin

Ready to replace the strings in my flats boat project.

What is the correct mat schedule for the stringers?

Layup depends on what resin you are using; Epoxy, VE , or Poly. Unless you are using poly you probably don't need mat which wastes resin in most cases. The easiest/lightest thing is to make forms out of 2x4 or 2x6s, trim em to fit the hull, wrap in polyethylene to keep glass from sticking and glass a 2 ply layup shell (out of the hull), pull the wood and glass the shell into the hull with some limber holes/drains. Cover the whole stringer with 3" overlap into hull; a total layup of .15-.20" is probably fine. Backfill with foam. Thats pretty much what Potter did for years.
