23’ sides of hull

Are the sides of hull from Potter era 23’ “ flexible” rather than rock hard ?
( Can see the flex when hit with side of fist )

yes

I believe so. Probably due to the air void between the hull an liner. I would check mine, but I have ripped out the liner and getting ready to core the sides with 1/2" divinycell.

With the combination of the hull and the liner, it is demonstrated after more than 40 years that it resists all kinds of waves and bends

Very true. I have just decided to close vents and remove liner. Along with flat deck and forward seating. Personal choice.

Does that mean it used to be solid but the outer fiberglass skin has delaminated from hull ?

Guess that means .....not good

No there is a gap between the hull and liner.

And that's the way that it works for the flexes in the big "BANG!" waves
