French cure 78 of 80 in 5 days!

China "discovered" the cure months ago...

The Wuhan Wutang testing continues.
Israel pledges millions of tablets.

that is REALLY interesting. Thanks gofast. The French study looks pretty reliable and is especially interesting because more than half of the patients had underlying health problems that lend themselves to serious coronavirus infections. Maybe we have an effective treatment.

Given the seriousness of the situation, I'd start treating patients on as big a scale as possible while continuing testing to make sure the result holds up.

Our health care costs are through the roof because the testing of a drug that has been
on the market for over 60 years will take a year.

All of a sudden we can do this in record time.

Thanks Bigshrimpin. That study led me deeper into the information black hole and it became pretty clear that there were some major problems with the French study and some alternative hypotheses that could produce the same result. A better designed study in China showed no benefit. For now, the jury is, for sure, still out.

Seems I hit a windmill.
