Looking for splash guard pics/ ideas
I did a search on here but almost every image isn't available on the threads because they are older posts. Hoping you guys can post up various options/ideas for splash guards on stock height 20sf transoms. Thanks in advance!

Anyone have any pics? Besides the clear plexiglass style with rubber against motor.....

I'm working on one for my 18, but, no pics yet. Using a piece of Azek board and heat bent it.
That's where I am. Planning on working on it this weekend. |

Still have stuff to do, but, this may give you an idea what I'm doing. I'm not going to worry about where the motor is, not that much water will be able to come in do to it being mounted on the transom now. The reason for installing this is we sometimes fish the Albemarle sound bridge and with a west wind, I can keep the boat still better in reverse than in forward.

Never thought an old GOAT would be my hero! Thanks!

Interesting! Simple and effective!
Another thing I saw once and haven't been able to locate again was a splash shield that mounts around the splash well. So three sided but open on the transom side. It looked sharp. |
