Livewell on Sceptre?

Does anyone know if livewells were stock in late 70s Sceptres with outboards? I've been looking for a Sceptre and many list a livewell included but don't see it in the pictures. Thanks

Yes. My 1977 23' Sceptre has a factory livewell in the back splash well area. Very Standard. But when redoing transoms a lot of people remove them.

Thanks for the reply! So the livewell is forward of the outboard and aft of the splashguard?

That is correct. Live wells are in the splashwell.

Would that be right in front of the scuttle door? :)

Not in front of the scuttle door, behind it. In the splash well. Between the outboard and the door.
