23 sceptre a&j marine bracket
 

Looking at redoing my transom and adding an A&J Marine bracket with extra wide flotation. My outboard is a 2018 300 etec g2, with a 25 inch shaft. Anyone out there running a similar setup? Did your ride change? Does the stern sit low in the water?

I took out 5.7 fresh water cooled Mercury it took almost 1000 lb off boat transom came up
Almost 2 inches my new engine only weighs 476 lbs
Put a j bracket on boat jumps on plain quickly with new 2019 merc 226 v6 handle very
Well want to upgrade to 300 next year

Lot of threads here on the with/without bracket performance. Extra room, closed transom= bracket. Better handling and balance = Transom mount.
