23' inboard self bailing scuppers

Hi all,
We are looking to add some self bailing scuppers to our 23' inboard. We want the ability to have water self bail. Especially for deck wash down.

I have seen some images of what others have done but would love to get some first hand knowledge.

We are thinking to pop a hole right above the existing deck drain and run straight to the transom.

Thanks!

I glassed in my ones that went through the floor and went out the transom with tubes. Works great

Do you have pics of your boat sitting in the water? how far below the waterline do the scuppers exit?

I don't, but I put 2" ping pong ball style scuppers from ray bud..........They work great very dry floor 135 gallons of fuel and full gear.
