Sceptre inboard engine rotation

I am in the process of a engine replacement/ rebuild and the question of engine rotation came up . Up to this point I haven’t given it much thought so it turns out I have a right hand (opposite )turning engine. Is this normal for a 1978 sceptre inboard or did somebody do a major alteration.
Thanks
Fred

I believe the Scepter Inboard's were all V drive boats and were all R H rotation.
I know of two that were like that. I am more in tune to the inboard configuration in the SF23 CC's that used the BW transmission's. FWIW

Engine Rotation

1975 23' Scepter Inboard with 1988 350 Magnum original bellhousing and Velvet drive. Mine is LH hand rotation (counter clockwise) when observed from the flywheel.

Engine Rotation

Follow up to earlier post. Prop is standard rotation right hand (clockwise) when viewed from the stern.
