Starting way overdue work

Several areas that need attention and my daughter will be taking over the reigns at some point, so I want to make the boat as seaworthy and safe as I can. The deck will need to be fixed/replaced, the original transom also needs to be done. The fuel tank is about 17 years old and it doesn't make sense to not replace it. Besides the ugly bottom, it also needs some work where it contacts the v block on the trailer. So I was trying to figure out just where to begin.
Wife says the bottom paint bothers her and yes, it's time. I have someone to paint it and do the glasswork. I just found someone to blast the paint with dustless blaster.
All that nasty black and blue paint shoveled and brushed from pavement.
It's got some dings and other areas that were painted over, but now wondering if I can put a hard paint on instead of bottom paint.

Decided to work my way up from bottom. Glass work done and went with a barrier coat and back to bottom paint. Going to try and get a few months of offshore trips and then put the Yami up for sale. Transom, deck and tank will then all be done at same time. New motor after that.
