Looking to add autopilot to my 1975 23’ sceptre

Hey all-

Looking to add autopilot to my 1975 seacraft sceptre. She has a alpha one gen 2 outdrive on her and a garmin 942xs Has anyone gone through this?- also how do the hulls track at slow speeds with autopilot?

I wouldn't own a boat without one. I have a 7 year old Garmin AP in my O/B Tsunami with over a 1000 nautical miles on it. Holds course in gear at idle.
