Rhodan on a 23 cc
 

I am just about finished with my 23' cc rebuild and need some help on what shaft length I need and 24 vs 36 volt Rhodan, standard mount port side bow. Any info from someone who has this type of setup on their 23' would be greatly appreciated. Probably still 60-90 days out so I think I will have time if I place my order in the next week or two. Thank you very much for your time.

I believe Moose has that one and pretty sure 36V at 84". Rhodan should confirm the length. I don't see a problem with 96" especially if it's rough.

What is being used on the Lithium battery set up , I hear 50amp hour is plenty power at 36V ??

Anybody used Iconic batteries ?, prices are way down..... $499 for a 12V 50Ah
or $1599 for a 36V 50Ah

I have the Iconic 36v 50 AH battery, their dual 36v /12v charger and their 36v heavy duty aluminum battery tray which totaled around $2000.

So far so good - The single battery 36v battery is a very clean uncluttered installation - compared to (3) lead acid battery saves 100 lb of (2) battery weight and space. A game changer for a 20 foot Seacraft. My single 36v battery install was the first for my marine mechanic (who is truly a master craftsman) - he was not overly enthusiastic when I told him I was going with a new fangled single "lightweight 45lb" 36v battery but after the "simple" install he was impressed and thinks that is the way to go now.

On my 20 foot boat I roughly estimate I will get around 20 hours + - of constant 36v TM use in 5 knot current. Most times I have used 10 - 20 % battery for up to 6 hour fishing trip but not operating the TM all the time - rough guideline. The smart blue tooth app to easily monitor battery usage is nice

Probably going with an 84", no big hurry at this time. I've got a couple of weeks before engine is mounted and rigged, then a couple of weeks of electronics and clean up. Glad to have a few friends with nice boats for dolphin season. Thanks for the feed back.
