Me and my buddy are starting his seacraft. Replacing floor, possibly transom and pulling cap to recore.

Wow! love it

unlike most, we are leaving it a i/o for the motor is pretty much new the last time it was in water. No sense and spending the cash on bracket and outboard. Re-placing floor and re-coring gunnel cap possibly transom after inspection. Fortunately i work in a boat factory and started socking away mat and woven.

I would look hard at the transom. Mine felt solid but was 100 percent wet. Had a friend that is a boat surveyor and he put his water meter on mine

ya, i am just going to plan on replacing it. Would be kind of silly to strip it down and not replace the transom.
