Boating Solutions to Shower Mildew?

While I am doing a couple of posts with the computer instead of my iphone, let me post a non-boat question to my boat colleagues. My wife complains about the mildew in the caulked fillet radius between the shower walls and shower pan. Can anyone recommend:
1- a mildew remover better than Clorox?
2- a REAL mildew resistant caulk? She won’t let me use black:)
It ruins the joy of taking a shower to squeegee and chamois when you are done.

Any good advice would be appreciated, hey my friend No Bones- good advice, no Memaw stuff!:):)

Terry, we have a spray bottle with full strength 30 second cleaner that we use as soon as we see any. The smell is a little caustic but we apply it and turn the fan on and leave. It really gets rid of any mildew and keeps it away for weeks.

Fresh, new silicon caulk is best if applied properly to clean, dry surfaces. When I caulk I follow similar procedures as if I was applying 5200 on the boat.
