Twin Mercury 150 4 strokes

We finally decided to retire our 150 Opti’s and replaced them with new 150 Mercury’s. Test run seen 52 mph @5600 rpm. With the full transom at 1200 rpm you can’t hear them run. Will get some fuel burn #’s in a few weeks after the boat repaint and savage conversation is complete .

Nice! I like the 150s and like most Merc outboards they are underrated hp wise. Are the new ones fly by wire?

doodlebug - what props are you running with the 150's?

chuck - If you drop prop down to a 15p it'll plane just fine and reach max rpm's
