Classic SeaCraft Community - Karen was on my flight to Hartford.

I was off to Vermont to visit old friends and maybe even fish a bit.

I was one of the last to board the flight from PBI to BDL last Tuesday.
As I was boarding, I noticed three attendants around a seat 4 rows
behind my window seat. I didn't think much of this as I stowed my bag
in the overhead.

I no sooner got in my seat, and I heard that voice.
The voice of Karen. I looked around and all eyes were on her.
She said she was having hot flashes and was going through
menopause. I turned around to look and she was not wearing
a mask. She was sweating and flushed and then it started.

She was on her phone.

Honey, I haven't done anything wrong.
They won't tell me what I have done wrong.
I have not broken any laws.
Please help me.

She repeats her pleas to the attendants.

Folks are now quite upset as she says my husband is an attorney.

Game on.

GFS:
Two words. Duct tape.

Two teen girls across the aisle tell me I am their new favorite passenger.

We laugh and I am listening intently as we all watch the meltdown.

GFS:
This will end one of two ways. You put your mask on or you will
go to the Gun Club stockade. You will spend the night in general
population. You may get to see a judge after you enjoy your bologna
sammich in the morning.

Phones are held up. Video is rolling.

One of the attendants positions himself between Karen and me.
I raise my phone.

Karen:
I'm going to be on YouTube.

GFS:
You are probably on FB live as we speak.

Scattered laughter.

Enter FD personnel.

The attendant blocking me tells me to please respect
her privacy. I say nothing as my lips starts to bleed from
my jaw pressure.

Enter PBSO. Ten minutes pass.

This is your captain speaking.
All passengers will now deplane.

Ohhhhhh great.

I bite my lip again and again.

We exit the plane.

The path from the gate is lined three deep on the concourse.
Damn. I want video of the walk of shame.

I am now wondering if the flight crew might be over their hour restriction
and we may have to wait for another crew.

Just great.

Karen is in a wheelchair surrounded by FD, PBSO, and attendants as she
is whisked away.

I get no video. Shazbot.

I ask the desk if we need a new crew.
No, but the preflight safety inspection needs to be done again,
and that will be two hours.

I try to call Drummer Dan and give him an update.
No service. I leave a text.

We board the plane again and I get a text from Dan.

Two and a half hours later we ground roll.

Nine hours later, We get to the condo on Bear Mtn at Killington and I just have
to know.

Her mugshot at intake shows no shame or clue.
