Bracket Mounting Help 23Â’

1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys

Hoping for some help here, I am rebuilding my Stainless marine bracket to add more flotation to provide some lift in the stern. (Currently have a single floatation w/ swim platform the flotation piece is approx 14” wide)

Was wondering if anyone would be willing to share the dimensions of their brackets. If they are flat bottom/ V bottom/ width etc. I am also interested in the degree of the bottom of the floatation piece and how that factors into how the boat performs. I have seen some brackets completely flat on the bottom, others come up on an angle as it gets closer to the motor. any info helps. I am hanging a single 4.2 300 Yamaha on it.

My next question would then be mounting the actual bracket, I believe it should be 25” from bottom of Keel due to the 25” shaft. Correct me if I’m wrong

Any info helps guys, looking to get my 23 sitting right ! Thanks a ton

Josh
