I have twin 150 eagle series motahs for the race boat. I really think the twins will keep her planted.
I have a twin armstrong bracket for test and tune and any future consideration for gulp, more powah!!!

I thought GFS had put the wimpy Zukes on the back burner and was leaning toward the 600hp V-12 Merc? I mean you want a race boat....right? :)

Thanks for information. Definitely worth considering…. I’m still running a 99 Rude Dog looper 250. Still runs strong, but need to re-power at some point.

You have a good run out there. How many hours do you put on
in a year?

Stephen 08-23-2022 12:21 PM

It's only got 450 hours. One new power head right before I bought it in 2007. I put about 80 hours a year on it. But haven't been using it regularly in years.
Thanks for the info Wattaway.........
