23 center console fuel tank

what was the standard fuel tank size(gallons) in a 23 sea craft. This boat started life as a i/o but transom has been closed and a outboard brackett added.

I ordered my first tank from the manufacturer of the original and they (RDS) had the size in their records (mine is a 83 hull if that makes a difference) 144 gallons. My boat is a cc, outboard, probably different than your io.

My original was 145 on my 1980. New will be a custom size 115-120 ish

My ‘73 I/o CC had 2-50gl tanks

RDS built me a new tank from their specs for the original. I gave the the year, model, and HIN. New tank was baffled and epoxy coated. And less money than I thought!
