Re: 1973 Sea Craft CC For Sale
Fiasco is now the proud new owner of the 1973 23' SF. I agreed to refurbish the trailer prior to his visit from VA. I normally shy away from projects such as this, but I broke out the air compressor...

Re: prop size for 23'
A 19" is in the right area. I have a 23' with a Yamaha 250. I run a 14"X17" turbo or a 13 3/4" X 19" stock Yamaha prop. Both props do the job fine. The 19" prop actually does a little better.

The older hull has a strong reputation and is a popular choice for a select group. I have a restored 1973 23' SF and do not regret the investment. I would be someone willing to pay 40K for a...

I have attempted to be as honest as possible. Instead of pointing out all the great stuff and somewhat not discussing the items that are not perfect, I believe a false representation can occur. I...

Re: 1973 Sea Craft CC For Sale
I agree. Not many folks expect to pay $28,500 for a 1973 23' open fisherman. Believe me I have met a lot of folks who are interested for several thousand off my asking price. When I first looked at...

Re: Contender vs. SeaCraft on THT
I used to own a Sea Ox, 1988 23' Open fisherman. Took it to Bimini twice. First time was excellent due to a calm flat sea all weekend. Next trip I encountered 5' to 7' most of the way. Sea Ox did not...
