I have a '74 SeaCraft with full transom and a portabracket with a 250 E-tec. It jumps up and goes, tops at 41 knots on gps. Very economical compared to my old 225 Johnson.

I have just enclosed the transom on my '74 23Seacraft, added a portabracket with a 250 E-tec, I am happy so far, getting 41knots top speed and approximately 28-30% less fuel burn.

Portabracket on SC 23
Does anyone have a portabracket on their 23SC? I have a 1974 and would like to perhaps put a F225 on one, or a Hermco bracket. Would like opinions, I know I will enclose the transom soon. Thanks.
