This is not always true at all. And that '76/'77 hull # versus title year thing, was a huge blunder. Boats can & do get confiscated because of something like this. What would I do? I would have a new...

Not much can be done about this. Plugged rod holders hold water. Plugged rod holders that have a nipple on the bottoms with a clear hose on them, simply allow you to re-direct the water. They do sell...

Mercruiser Steering Cylinder
Hey guys, I've got one of those Mercruiser steering cylinders(accuator) that goes on the inside of the transom, that I don't need. The dealer said it fits all the Alpha & Bravo outdrives ever made....

If its foamed in place, as you said, and has moved...Then use up as much of the fuel as possible, or pump it out, move it back into position & then foam the rear, and any other void spots. I would'nt...

Ken, If your going with twin Merc 135's on a bracket, with both harnesses going down one rig tube, you will probably need one 25' & one 20' harness.(but you might get away with two 20's.)Any excess...
