Yes, I have a fuel/water filter, and I drain it before each use. However, the large amount of water in the gas simply overwhelmed it as well as the filter on my Yamaha 225.

unsinkable SeaCraft

A friend of mine has had the gunwhales of his 21' SeaCraft CC pumped full of foam, theoretically making it unsinkable. Has anyone on this forum had any experience with this process?

I have replaced the filler o-ring and both fuel/water filters. The engine runs perfectly again. Needless to say, I will monitor the filters after the next heavy rain.

Yes, I have a water separator filter on the engine and a Rayco in-line filter as well. Both were full of water.I checked the filler cap and O ring, both of which seem perfect. No, the motor had not...
