Great idea. Mitch (flex pat) made some clips for my ladder, they are strong and fit perfectly. I could use 3 of those windshield latches if it works out.

After bumping your head a couple of times, you learn to duck! I think the crossbar makes the windshield a lot sturdier. Actually, I use it as a hand hold when going forward or returning.

Nice! Those ladders are useful IMO. Mine is a rebuilt original with remanufactured clips by Mitch (Flexpat) and his son.
