they are an improvement over the flappers but i still use the stoppers on the inside when in the boat. they still let water in with a load.

some suggestions: Use Black Starboard for upper section of console, remove guages from in front of wheel to the section below the stering wheel so when you look through the wheel you will see them....

had a yam 225 that developed some of the same symptoms. the diaphram on the fuel pump developed a tear (leak). might want to try that first. if you can squeez the bulb while running and it smooths...
