When I painted the interior of my boat, I found that all the holes and cracks I repaired showed through the paint requiring additional coats. If I were to do it again I would prime also.

I would highly recommend getting a shelter for the paint job, shelter logic makes a 10x20 that you can buy the sides for. I bought one a few years ago at pepboys.

You may want to check out Pacer Marine, they manufacture their own wire and its a fraction of the cost of Ancor products....
