Leverette, you might want to check out Marine Discount Liquidators in Ft Pierce. They charged me $2.65 a gal and they have the right tanks for the a 20 sf. They had a 70 gal tank and also a 56 gal...

I have a 1984 20'sf which I just redid. I can tell you the hull is a tank. It is a solid 3/4" of glass where I put my water pickup. I think you would do ok to get the 83 for the right price.

I am in the process of redoing my 20'sf. My tank was foamed in also, and when I scrapped the foam off. I found it was pitted all over. I suggest you buy a new tank don't try to fix the old one. Ken

Blue good luck with the '89. I just figured it would be cheaper in the long run to buy a more fuel efficient engine. The old 200 Johnson only got up to about 30 mph WOT.
It only had 5 good...
