Looks like you have the same problem as I do with the hing bolts rubing/hiting on the lip. I was thinking about longer hinges so the bolts go through the core. As for the layup. Did you put mat...

I think im going to go with the Taco pieces and leave the bow T out. Capt Chuck, what color White Awgrip did you use? it looks sweet.

The bow rail I am looking at replacing is an inside bow rail. This rail is not the one you have pictured. It is on the gunwale (interior part of the boat.
