I have stored my boats both ways: tank full and tank as close to empty as possible. i always added the Startron and never had a problem either way come spring time.

Transom angle question

My 1969 20' Seafari has a transom angle of 13 degrees. All the brackets I have seen for sale latley have angles of 12 or 15 degrees. can I use those or does it have to be exactly 13. Thanks

Right now it looks like im going to do a bracket. I was thinking a single beracket and than mount a teak platform just over it. I will keep CSC updated. thanks

Here is the progress so far on the 1969 20' Seafari. The new transom is in. Thanks alot to Stricks post, it helped a bunch and as you will see in the pics I follwed most of his tips.

Number of gallons of gas x 128 / 50.1 = the correct amount of oil in ounces to mix. S0 if you have a 47 gal tank it would be.
47 x 128 / 50.1 = 120oz.
