Re: A New Boat to Check Out

You're going to love the 300 Zuke. I got mine project finished back in Feb with about 115 hours on it so far and it rocks. My boat is not a Seacraft, but a 1973 23' Tsunami (Capt. Chuck can give...

Re: bracket on a 1978 23'

One year to the date of major mechanical failure...it is finished.
I am going to have the folks at the shop put on a different prop because I can't get full RPMs (6300) the one they gave me...

Re: Bracket set-back question

I'm no expert on this, especially with the 20', but I would expect that so long as you get a bracket with enough floatation to offset the additional moment arm from having the engine 30" vs 26",...

Re: Motor Brackets??

I can't say for certain how the Hermco bracket performs, but it does look good. I should have some real numbers this weekend. Motor is being hung today. Bracket#1...

Re: post your livewell setup!

"I`m gonna run an 800gph rule w 1 " hose and 1 1/2 drain. The drain is a 90 * so may need 2 thru the top of the coffin and out the existing transom thru hull."

I'm not quite there with mine, but...

Re: bracket on a 1978 23'

I am very satisfied with the paint. It goes on easy and the finish is really nice. The only problems I've had are from me trying to put too much paint on in one coat and just not giving myself...

Re: twin 140 zukes on a 23cc?

I have a 1973 Tsunami (not a SeaCraft). I'm about three weeks away from having my new 300 Suzuki up and running. I'll let you know how she runs once I get her back from the engine shop. I'll be...

Re: Enclosing transom

I agree, that's probably a pretty close guess. I've done all the glasswork on my transom and I've spent a good bit. I've done a lot more work than just the transom so my total materials cost would...

Re: bracket on a 1978 23'

Thanks Steve. I had looked at the website and noticed that the prop pitches were a lot lower than what my mechanic had suggested initially. I will pass that on to him before he orders the prop. I...
