Capt. Brian, thanks for the first hand insight. I'm leaning way towards the 140's, they weigh the same as the 115's and my boat is a little heavier with the cuddy up front, I'm hoping that in itself...

does any one have any experience with twin 130 hondas on a 23? would one even cosider the new honda 200's? Overkill?

350 total hrs, runs 55+.

I talked to my local dealer and he suggested a repower package of twin 130 Hondas or 140 Suzukis (4-strokes).Would make long offshore trips much more doable. Does anyone...

Hi folks, i found your board in doing some research before a boat purchase and have been encouraged to pick up an '85 23' Sceptre. The hull is great, has good electronics, and is a fish-ready package...
