I have an 18' and a 23'. My dad has a 20'.The 18'with a bracket rides and performs just as well as the 20' but if you are looking for a better ride, look for a 23'. I don't have 50hrs on my 18' after...

my '75 18' will run 51 by gps. that's a 2005 yami 150 carb motor on a Hermco bracket. it's pretty loose at wot since i still don't have any tabs on it.

we actually live in WNC around lake lure/chimney rock. we keep a camper at the sea mist. both boats are usually there, but my 18' has gone home while i finish the rest of the season on PeterB's old...

floor is very solid withthe exception of the area directly over the rigging channels beside the console if you stand with all your weight on one foot you can feel some flex. my '75 was the same way....
