Today the floor and hatches got the first coat of gel with traction control. Console is starting to look good too. After further research, i think i will stick with the 1kw transducer for now.

Do you think the boat wouldn't perform correctly? It would be enough work to add the 4 feet of length. Adding a foot of beam would be more work than it is worth.
